for those creatures who deserve
those distinct rewards.
Yet heaven, purgatory
and hell tell about kinship
more than a gory
place of punishment or a
midway place meant to
circumvent hell but must first
dispel all small flaws via
purification
before those souls proceed through
glory’s gate with great
elation to be in God’s
presence. Ironically,
these are not places,
rather they’re conditions of
being without or
with God’s essence that aligns
the lines that define those who
populate each state
which creates the illusion
of concrete places.
Hence, the context of Eve’s act
and its impact from the snake’s
deceitful pretext
that Eve would be godlike makes
the complexity-
of-reality chart key.
For me, I will ascribe to
Saint Aquinas’
Uncaused Cause of the First Cause
as god’s best label
that accurately attests
to the true nature of the
blessed Creator.
I will start the course of this
discourse at the point
of origin in red ink
to sink in the spark of flame
that became either
the warming internal heat
to keep the body’s
temperature stable so
we’re able to function well,
or engorge into
a roaring, out of control,
forest fire that
will forge utter destruction
of everything completely.
The complexity
of reality begins
with each citizen
of every nation, all
across the globe’s collection
of humanity,
with birth, the point of her or
his life’s origin.
The allocation of one’s
character traits relates to
the composition
of unique D N A that
begins to display
the evolving array of
their free-will-choices that will
prey, betray or stay
more positive to nurture;
help a neighbor, or
convey a strong desire
to learn rather than burn books.
The chart’s left side marks
the magnitude of sliding
scales for each polar
opposite character trait
which populates the center.
Enter the chart’s right
side that is tied to the left
and behold the heart
that starts the complexity
of reality that breeds
joys and suffering.
The Uncaused Caused of the First
Cause imposed the laws
that scientists insist rule
evolution’s evolving
processes over
the ages of great changes
that formed the Higgs field
that grants tangible mass to
plants and animals and you
and, also, to me
as intelligent mammals
who can reflect and
detect some of those laws but,
also, must live with flaws of
energy <—> matter
transformations that scatter
some complications
throughout the population
of humankind that must find
ways to learn how to
unwind convoluted folds
that hold hidden truths
since omniscience isn’t a
sense we possess for free will’s
completion of choice.
When seeking to comprehend
complexity’s depth,
I recommend taking a
breath and juxtapose polar
ends, then formulate
the means to collate details
forming the middle.
Hence, the riddle of the chart
is now unsealed and revealed.
Broadly speaking, the
Uncased Cause of the First Cause
resides on the left
and always abides by Its
true nature that’s more on the
positive side ’til
inertia demands a stand
calculated to
resist Its antithesis
as defined on the right side.
