We have a democracy,
not a monarchy,
that needs cooperation
over brute competition.
Hence, we have lessons
to learn analogous to
Eve’s innocence lost
with serpent-tongued Iago(s)
that pose significant threats
in a world replete
with polar opposites that
defeat naive, blind
obedience to produce
enlightened selves that shelve their
quite superficial
loyalty for completely
and deeply robust
comprehension of Life’s true
intention toward making a
well educated
society seeking a
stable unity
for nurturing all the best
and forsaking the rest who
obsess to maintain
their ignorance to test their
right to rule all things
for their own selfish reasons.
Naivete’s displays heed
curiosity’s
need to know what is unknown.
Hence, free will burdens
souls by the choosing between
polar opposites without
the benefit of
a most useful omniscience.
It’s the down side of
curiosity
that breeds this world’s suffering.
Yet, the upside is
the gaining of wisdom when
incorrect choices
trigger self-reflection to
fathom the deep, bleak chasm
of the possible,
natural consequences
of your chosen path
and whatever wrath befalls
its level of deviance
from the correct form
of harmony inherent
